This production of The Ghost Sonata, a story of the search for hope and humanity in a vicious decaying world, is the collaboration that drove the creation of New Theater House. In the desire to thoroughly explore and illuminate the haunting, intoxicating world Strindberg creates, we challenged ourselves to strip all hesitation and pretension and unearth the unsettling and the beautiful inside ourselves. In doing so, we revamped the standard theater-making process and embarked on our journey to discover the methods that create the most striking and immediate work.
