of the storm we should have seen coming and the sociopolitical firestorm she left in her wake. Based on Patricia Smith’s award-winning book, Blood Dazzler is an exploration of Hurricane Katrina through the convergence of verse, dance, theatre and multimedia.

Angela's Pulse, co-founded by Paloma and Patricia McGregor, creates vital dance and theater works and fosters collaboration among artists, educators, community organizers, academics and other diverse communities in order to illuminate under-told stories, infuse meaning into the audience experience and animate progress through the arts.
